Staying On Track with Adventure 3

In order to be learning designers and have conversations about learning design, it is helpful to have some common language and basic understanding of concepts related to designing learning environments and experiences. These concepts can also be discussed in the language of instructional design. So in Adventure 3, we are investigating the basics related to designing learning experiences aka instructional design (essentially this means the process of creating curriculum). 

The activities we can do for this include:

  1. Interact with your facilitator and your colleagues via #Ldtimolo Hangout For Adventure 3, Week 4 (September 30, 5:00 7:00pm Mt) for a look back at Adventure 2, and an introduction to Adventure 3.
  2. Research and interact, via discussion, to understand The Basic Rules of the Game! In other words, you need the basic concepts and vocabulary of learning/instructional design.
  3. Produce a media/multimedia creation to answer the question, What does a Learning Designer aka Instructional Designer Do?
  4. Set Up Guilds for Adventure 4. 
  5. Engage in reflection for Adventure 3 Reflection.
